Terms and Condition for use of TACT website
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of the TACT website (“Website” we”, “our”, or “us”), which offers online courses and related educational content in the field of clinical studies (“Courses”). By accessing or using this Website, you (“User” “you”, or “your”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Website.

- “Force majeure. Neither TACT academy nor the User shall be held liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations under this Agreement if such delay or failure is caused by events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control

Acceptance of Terms: By accessing and using the Website, you agree to abide by this Agreement, including any updates or modifications we may make to it from time to time. We recommend that you review these Terms periodically.
- Courses Offered: The Website provides online educational content related to clinical studies, including but not limited to courses, video tutorials, reading materials, assessments, quizzes, and certificates (“Courses”). The Courses are intended for educational purposes only and are not to be construed as medical, legal, or professional advice.
- Registration and Account: To access certain Courses, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Fees and Payments: Some Courses may require payment. The fees for these Courses will be outlined on the Website. By enrolling in a Course, you agree to pay all applicable fees associated with the Course. Payments must be made through the payment methods specified on the Website and all payments will be processed in INR (Indian Rupees), and any applicable taxes or charges will be your responsibility.

- Breach of Intellectual Property: In the event of a confirmed breach of any Intellectual property, TACT Academy reserves the right to take the following actions:

- Suspend or terminate the offending User’s access to the Website and Courses.
- Pursue legal action against the User for any damages arising from the copyright infringement, including but not limited to claims for statutory damages, legal costs, and attorney’s fees.
- Use of Website: You agree to use the Website and the Courses in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the following:
- You will not engage in any activity that could harm or disrupt the Website’s services or infrastructure.
- You will not upload, share, or distribute any material that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
- You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Website’s software or Content.
- Cancellation and refund: All the payments are non-refundable.
- Completion certificate: The team working at TACT academy shall have sole discretion in regard to award of certificates and the customer will be liable to comply with the relevant terms and conditions in order to get the certificates being issued on his/ her particular name. The Customer shall be liable for making the full payment of the amount of course and also to complete other formalities as intimated by team working at TACT in order to achieve the relevant certification.
- Limitation of Liability: The Website and the Courses are provided “as is,” without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Courses.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website or Courses, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or personal injury.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Website, its affiliates, and its employees from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website or violation of these Terms.

The affected party shall make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of the Force Majeure Event and resume performance of its obligations as soon as reasonably possible.
- Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website and Courses if you violate any of these Terms. Termination will not affect any rights or obligations that have accrued prior to the termination date.
- Governing Law and Dispute Resolution: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Hyderabad, India, in accordance with the terms of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- Changes of Terms: We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the Website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
- Details of the Nodal officer and Grievance Redressal Mechanism
Responsibilities
The appointed Nodal Officer shall perform the following duties:
- Address and resolve consumer grievances and complaints within the prescribed timeline as stipulated under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
- Act as the primary point of contact for consumer disputes and facilitate resolution either directly or by coordinating with other relevant departments.
- Maintain a record of all grievances and their resolutions, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Ensure that the TACT academy complies with all regulatory obligations related to consumer protection, including the provision of appropriate redressal mechanisms.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the grievance redressal process and recommend improvements where necessary.
Mechanism
The Tact Academy has established an accessible and transparent grievance redressal mechanism for consumers, which includes the following:
Filing
Consumers will be provided with an easy-to-use mechanism for filing grievances, which includes the following methods:
- Online submission via the E-Commerce Entity’s website or mobile application.
- Email support.
- Toll-free helpline (if applicable).
Acknowledgement
Upon the receipt of a grievance, the TACT Academy shall acknowledge the complaint in writing (either electronically or through other means) within 48 hours of receipt.
Resolution
The TACT academy shall ensure that all grievances are resolved within 1 month from the date of receipt, as per the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. If the grievance cannot be resolved within the stipulated timeframe, the TACT Academy shall inform the consumer about the delay and provide a revised timeline for resolution.
Escalation
If the grievance remains unresolved for more than 1 month, the consumer shall have the option to escalate the issue to the higher authorities within the TACT academy. In the event that the consumer is dissatisfied with the resolution provided by the Nodal Officer, they may escalate the matter to the relevant regulatory or legal authorities, including the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), in accordance with applicable laws.

Consumer Awareness

Compliance
The TACT Academy agrees to fully comply with the provisions of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and all other applicable laws and regulations governing consumer rights and dispute resolution in India.
