Basic Life Support Provider Course (AHA BLS-P)

Course Objectives:

On completion of the course, the students will be able to:

•  Describe the links in the AHA Chain of Survival
•  Provide effective chest compressions
•  Provide rescue breaths using a barrier device
•  Provide CPR for adults, children, and infants
•  Manage victims of choking
•  Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively
•  Successfully answer the questions at the completion of course and will successfully pass skills test by demonstrating their competency of CPR for adults & infants and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
